WHAT ARE RECIPROCATING LUBRICANTS USED FOR?
Reciprocating air compressors are often used in demanding applications. The pistons driven by a crankshaft deliver gases at high pressure. Different components need different lubricants, making these reciprocating oils applicable on various parts of the compressor such as air compressor pistons and cylinders which results in friction-reduced performance when mounted correctly.

Our Clarke compressor oil is specially formulated for splash feed applications and ideal for models with a 28-65 litre (7 to 15 gallon) capacity.

The lubricant prevents wear and extends the life of moving parts like pistons, valves & seals in spring-loaded pumps. Reciprocating compressor oils also feature corrosion inhibitors which prevent pump internals from rusting prematurely. We have Clarke Compressor Oil available in 1L or 5L containers and at very competitive prices.
